Molly Malone -  Captain's Daughter & The Sailors

IGH i Sanja

ENG

Molly was a famous fishmonger in Dublin who sold her catch on the streets. Although there are many theories of Molly’s ”virtue”, the innuendo to which you run into through the song (if you do) will formulate what you’ll believe (if you want to believe). Hm, perhaps I should mention that the song of Molly is an unofficial anthem of Dublin and bronze statues were made in her honor. It is known that to throw a coin between Molly’s naked breasts is considered lucky.

CRO
